Packing Associate
Location: Buford, Georgia
We’re hiring a Packing Associate to support final-stage production activities in a busy warehouse setting. This role focuses on inspecting, labeling, recording, and properly preparing finished products for shipment. Candidates must be adaptable and willing to assist with general assembly support when needed. This position requires the ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team to meet daily production goals.
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Standard hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare completed products for shipment
- Inspect finished goods for quality and accuracy
- Apply proper labeling to packaged units
- Record quantities and ensure accurate documentation
- Place units on pallets following standard procedures
- Use basic hand tools when necessary
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces (5S methodology)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and follow instructions in English
- Physically able to stand for an 8-hour shift
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiar with 5S or similar workplace organization systems
- Commitment to safety and team-based work
