Plumbing Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer responsible for designing and delivering plumbing projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and local codes. This role requires collaboration with project teams, performing design reviews, and ensuring the accuracy of final construction documents. The Plumbing Engineer will also identify opportunities for project improvements and maintain clear communication about any project deviations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design plumbing and fire protection systems in line with codes and client specifications; mainly, commercial, municipalities, healthcare, K-12, higher education, etc.. (industrial piping or biopharm piping is also relevant and transferrable)
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other teams throughout project phases.
- Perform code reviews, design checks, and quality control.
- Oversee project development using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Manage bidding, construction documents, and resolve construction issues.
- Participate in meetings and handle RFIs, drawing revisions, and final project reviews.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Construction Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
