Project Manager – Commercial Mechanical Systems / Design Build for

Are you a proactive and energetic leader with a passion for managing impactful construction projects? Our client, a well-established Design Build firm, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in the Littleton, MA area.
As the Project Manager, you will lead design-build initiatives with precision, professionalism, and integrity. Your mission: deliver projects on time, on budget, and above expectations while ensuring customer satisfaction and team cohesion every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction Phase
- Oversee all pre-construction activities, ensuring every detail is defined and aligned.
- Collaborate with estimating and purchasing to finalize contracts, value engineering, and procurement.
- Develop construction schedules, organize submittals, and secure necessary permits.
- Lead construction planning meetings and maintain master project documentation.
Construction Phase
- Serve as the central hub for all on-site coordination and communication.
- Manage subcontractors, labor cost tracking, scheduling, and quality control inspections.
- Drive timely completion and profitability by proactively resolving design and delivery challenges.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
Project Closeout
- Coordinate final inspections, punch lists, owner training, and closeout deliverables.
- Ensure a seamless transition to warranty and post-construction support.
- Prepare comprehensive closeout and performance documentation.
- 8+ years in Project Management
- Experience managing design-build projects specific to mechanical systems within the commercial or industrial space. (higher education, laboratories, hospitals, commercial buildings, etc.)
- Firm understanding of project financials.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Willing / able to do some local travel to sites.
