Sub-Assembly Technician
Location: Norcross, Georgia
We are seeking a skilled assembler to support the production of custom kiosk enclosures by integrating sub-assembly components and constructing wiring harnesses. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality assembly and efficient workflow within our production facility.
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm. OT offered not mandatory
Pay rate: Starting at $17ph
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely install electrical and mechanical components within kiosk enclosures, following detailed assembly guidelines.
- Assemble subcomponents according to production schedules, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve issues with assembled units returned from quality inspection.
- Assist in developing and refining procedures for cabinet assembly and wiring.
- Contribute to prototype development by assisting in the creation of wiring harnesses.
- Participate in routine inventory checks to maintain accurate part counts.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support production efficiency.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare all necessary materials and components for efficient assembly operations.
- Securely mount display screens into kiosk enclosures and prepare units per scheduling requirements.
- Support inventory management by retrieving parts for production needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with wiring harness construction and electronic components.
- Skilled in using hand tools, including wire cutters, crimpers, and power drills.
