Machinist Mechanic

Location: Ellabell, GA
Shift: Day Shift (Mon–Fri) – 6:30am – 3pm

Summary:
A well-established precision manufacturing company is seeking a mechanically strong Machinist Mechanic to support specialized Swiss screw machines used in the production of small, high-precision metal components.

This is not a general machine operator role. The equipment and processes are highly specialized and training will be provided directly on the company’s proprietary machines. We are looking for someone with solid mechanical aptitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in developing deeper manufacturing and machining skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate and monitor Swiss screw machines in a precision production environment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make machine adjustments as trained
  • Read and follow blueprints and shop drawings
  • Maintain production records and ensure machines are running efficiently
  • Take ownership of a small group of machines with consistent production expectations

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong mechanical aptitude (hands-on with tools, equipment, or mechanical systems)
  • Detail-oriented and dependable with a steady work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused in a production setting
  • Organized, self-driven, and serious about learning a specialized trade

Preferred 

  • Experience with machining, lathes, mills, or production equipment
  • Exposure to precision manufacturing or machine shop environments
  • Experience operating or troubleshooting mechanical equipment
