About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with experience in MEP projects and a strong command of Revit. The ideal candidate will support the design and documentation of mechanical systems—primarily HVAC, ductwork, and piping—for a mix of commercial and residential construction projects. This role involves developing new designs and modifying existing systems in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and modify mechanical system designs in Revit for MEP projects, including HVAC, ductwork, and piping layouts

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other design disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery

Produce construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built plans

Update and revise designs for renovation, retrofit, or field-identified changes

Conduct field verification and assist with site condition documentation

Support QA/QC reviews and implement design redlines and markups

Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes and standards
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in mechanical design for MEP projects, preferably in both commercial and residential settings

Proficient in Revit as the primary design and drafting software

Familiarity with ductwork and piping layout, HVAC system design, and construction documentation

Ability to modify and adapt existing designs based on updated project requirements

Working knowledge of building codes and industry standards

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
