About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist II to support a broad range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and compliance. This role will serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers and employees, with a primary focus on recruiting professional and salaried positions while supporting hourly recruitment needs as required. The HR Generalist II will help ensure effective implementation of HR programs and practices while fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support full-cycle recruitment, with a primary focus on professional and salaried positions while supporting hourly recruitment needs as required.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective job postings and interview scorecards.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to identify qualified talent.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews throughout the selection process.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to support selection and hiring decisions.
  • Assist with compensation package development and offer processes.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities to ensure a positive new-hire experience.
  • Monitor recruiting activity and leverage recruiting metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, workplace concerns, and HR-related matters.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers regarding performance management and employee relations issues.
  • Support employee relations investigations, ensuring appropriate documentation, confidentiality, and escalation when necessary.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Help managers navigate HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information and records within the HRIS.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and other employee lifecycle processes, with a primary focus on professional and salaried employees while supporting hourly operations as needed.
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee questions regarding benefits and HR programs.
  • Support the consistent administration of company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure HR practices align with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
  • Support the administration of performance review and performance management processes.
  • Assist with employee development and career growth initiatives.
  • Support training programs and employee engagement activities.
  • Help implement HR programs and initiatives aligned with organizational and business needs.
  • Partner with managers and HR leadership to support talent development and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external HR audits and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare HR metrics, reports, and workforce data as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate HR documentation and records.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, with a strong emphasis on talent acquisition.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience recruiting for professional and exempt-level positions.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with and influence hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Strong talent acquisition and recruiting expertise, particularly for professional and exempt-level positions.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters with sound judgment, discretion, and appropriate escalation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage recruiting and HR metrics.
  • Experience supporting performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee and company information.
  • Master's degree or MBA with an HR concentration preferred, but not required.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 12–18 months.
