Engineering Manager
*Direct Hire Opening with excellent benefits.
Location: Fort Worth, TX area
Comp range: 130-140K
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Onsite
Travel: Up to 40% initially, decreasing over time; ongoing travel to Kansas City and Houston
Stakeholder interaction:
- Manages a team of manufacturing engineers across multiple sites (Kansas City, Justin, Houston/Odessa)
- Close, ongoing coordination with the project engineering team throughout an active facility expansion
- Cross-functional interaction with facility/site leadership and other department leaders
- More visible, people-facing role than a typical engineering position — regularly presenting and coordinating across groups
What products/processes are they most involved in:
- Day-to-day operational management of manufacturing facilities
- Active support of the Justin facility expansion, including team readiness for the transition
- Taking ownership of running a facility once it's handed over from project engineering
- Oversight of floor-level engineering issues across supported sites
Key background points:
- Proven experience managing or leading a team of engineers, ideally across multiple facilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills — comfortable operating outside of pure technical work
- Track record of building and developing an engineering team
- Comfortable with a heavy travel schedule, particularly in the first several months
- Experience supporting a facility expansion or similar high-growth manufacturing environment is a plus, not required
