Account Executive
Our client in Kennesaw, Ga has an immediate need for an Account Executive. The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through project handoff. This role owns pipeline development, customer relationships, and order conversion while aligning customer needs with company solutions.
Responsibilities
- Present quotes to customers and obtain preliminary design (PD) approval, fabrication commitment and/or order acknowledgement (OA), and deposits
- Drive quote-to-order conversion rates and overall sales performance metrics
- Lead the full sales process through order close, ensuring all requirements are met for successful execution
- Ensure a seamless handoff to Project Coordination for execution, maintaining accountability for a strong customer experience
- Explain fabrication processes, timelines, and introduce Project Coordinators to customers
- Actively manage and grow a qualified sales pipeline to ensure consistent order flow
- Maintain and track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and updates within the CRM system
- Maximize business opportunities within existing accounts through proactive relationship management
- Develop strong relationships with key personnel across assigned brands through consistent follow-up and execution
- Collaborate with Project Coordinators to meet and exceed customer service expectations
- Drive year-over-year revenue growth across assigned accounts
- Maintain consistent communication with accounts (preferably via phone) and document interactions weekly in CRM
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Occasional travel locally and out of state
