CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist
Our client in Knoxville, TN is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes and a strong understanding of precision machining and inspection techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC Swiss lathes to produce precision components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and comparators
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience required
- Prior experience operating Swiss CNC machines is required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shift:
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
