Customer Service Representative
Our client in Austell, Ga has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative. We are seeking a highly organized, dependable, and customer-focused individual to support our office operations. This position combines administrative support, customer service, and purchasing responsibilities while serving as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal team members.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors professionally.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Process customer requests and provide order updates.
- Resolve customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain positive customer relationships.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to management and office staff.
- Schedule meetings and maintain calendars.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
- File and maintain electronic and paper records.
- Assist with office supply inventory and ordering.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Support special projects as assigned.
Purchasing Responsibilities:
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Obtain vendor quotes and compare pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers on deliveries and order status.
- Maintain vendor records and purchasing documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and accounting.
- Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Assist with cost-saving initiatives and purchasing process improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, purchasing, or related office environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
- Experience with ERP systems, purchasing software, or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Customer service in a manufacturing, distribution, or business-to-business environment.
- Purchasing or procurement experience.

- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
