Production Manager
Our client in Knoxville, Tn is looking for a Production Manager to lead their production operations. The Production Manager supervises department staff and operations of production. Responsible for production schedule, plans and assigns work, trains employees, and has authority for hiring, Recommends termination, and/or discipline, and performance decisions. Responsible for maintaining product quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production schedules.
- Measures progress by established standards of performance.
- Recognizes and solves problems affecting production including schedules, staff, quality, and order of production line & scrap.
- Tool design and acceptance.
- Product design
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills-verbal and written.
- Ability to work with others and work in a team environment.
- Ability to organize work priorities and multitask.
- Good computer skills utilizing MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power point.
- Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Preferred basic supervisory/managerial skills.
- Preferred a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment, 5s, lean Management system. (Preferred)
Shift:
- Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
- OT when needed.
