Quality Supervisor – Product Testing Lab

About the Opportunity:
An established manufacturer is seeking an experienced Product Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead laboratory operations and drive quality performance across product evaluation processes. This is a full-time, onsite position reporting to the Global Quality Assurance Manager and is key to supporting continuous improvement and product integrity efforts.
Work Arrangement: Onsite Daily (No remote option)
Travel: Global travel approximately 5–15%
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of laboratory technicians with a focus on accountability, performance, and professional growth

Manage full lifecycle of Product Evaluation Requests (PERs), from intake and logistics through analysis, communication, and closeout

Prioritize lab operations to meet business demands and customer expectations

Communicate findings and recommendations with Quality, Engineering, and Commercial teams

Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for laboratory efficiency and effectiveness

Ensure documentation and reporting accuracy across lab activities

Implement corrective action processes based on testing outcomes and data analysis

Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives in laboratory workflows

Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance within the lab environment
Qualifications:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
Experience:
-
Minimum 7 years in quality assurance, with demonstrated leadership of lab or incident management teams

Proven success in managing structured operational processes and driving cross-functional initiatives

Background in process improvement, workflow optimization, and team development
Technical Skills:

Proficient in data and statistical analysis tools

Knowledge of quality management systems and testing equipment

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards
