Position Summary

TES Recruiting is partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturer of engineered industrial equipment to identify a Senior Quality Manager for its flagship manufacturing facility in the Rosenburg, TX area. 

This leadership role is responsible for driving quality strategy across a 24/7 operation, leading a growing Quality organization, and serving as a key business partner to Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers. The successful candidate will oversee the Quality Management System (QMS), maintain ISO compliance, develop team capabilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned quality leader who can balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution while helping elevate the quality function to support significant business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a Quality team across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

  • Maintain and continuously improve an ISO-certified Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Drive corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure product quality and successful project execution.

  • Manage customer quality requirements, audits, inspections, and complaint resolution.

  • Establish and report key quality metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support ASME, quality certifications, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Foster a proactive quality culture focused on prevention, accountability, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive Quality leadership experience within manufacturing.

  • Experience leading Quality teams of 10+ employees.

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining ISO-certified Quality Management Systems.

  • Strong background in metal fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment manufacturing.

  • Experience with NDT methods, quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships across Operations, Engineering, and customer organizations.

  • Engineering-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

  • Target compensation up to $150,000+, depending on experience.
